ABOUT US

Bellringer Supply Corporation was founded in 1976 as Bellringer Bar & Restaurant Supplies by Bellringer president Al Faber.  Bellringer's first "warehouse" was Al's home garage and his 1976 5-speed Toyota Corona stationwagon served as Bellringer's first delivery vehicle.  With his "You ring, we bring" operating and marketing mantra, Al Faber quickly became the supplier of choice of many popular local bars in Nassau County, including Sonny's Place (Seaford), Mulcahey's (Wantagh), and Club 50 (Merrick). 

In 1977, Al outgrew his stationwagon (well, okay... he racked up so many miles on it that the engine just self-destructed!) and bought his first van.  In the early 1980s, he finally outgrew his garage, too, and rented his first warehouse in Amityville, Long Island.  By 1987, he outgrew that first little warehouse and moved to another building in the same industrial park.  There, the growth continued!  He purchased two more vans and hired drivers to help make deliveries.  Soon, he added three trailers to house glassware and paper goods. 

In 1999, Al began extending his "You ring, we bring" philosophy to the Internet marketplace, launching his first Bellringer website.  To assist him in this endeavor, Al retained the services of Susan Gaide, who serves as vice president of Bellringer Supply Corporation and president of GaideCom, Inc. Strategic Communications.  In 2002, Al decided to sell his local warehouse in favor of expanding his web-based operations.  In doing so, he acquired an international client base, with customers in Canada, Mexico and Europe.  

2005 marks the launch of Bellringer's first online store, enabling customers to procure food and food service equipment/supplies directly from the Bellringer website.  Please continue to visit our website as we continue to expand our product offerings!
